Facilities at Lakeside Recreation Centre


Lakeside Recreation Centre has served the community since 1992, as a community service provided by Lakeside Baptist Church. We have four courts over two stadiums, set up for basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and more, plus function and meeting rooms, a crèche and a commercial kitchen, with free parking, showers and accessible parking, entrances, lifts and bathrooms.

Book a full court, or half a court for basketball or netball. The Hub is our largest function room, for up to 210 people, with IT, WiFi, a TV and projectors, and the Circuit Room and Studio each suit up to 50. The Crèche has its own playground area and is ideal for kids' birthday parties, and Timeout Café can be hired as a private function space or cater for your event.

Capacity: 315 people
Pricing: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

A full indoor court, set up for basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and more. Book the whole court, or half of it for basketball or netball (Court 1 Half A or Half B). Basketballs and netballs are available to hire and shuttlecocks to buy; we don't provide volleyballs or badminton racquets.

The Hub

Capacity: 210 people
Pricing: $40.00-$70.00 per hour

Our largest function room, for up to 210 people, with IT, WiFi, a TV, projectors, chairs, tables and whiteboards. Ideal for birthdays, engagements, corporate events and meetings, and Timeout Café can cater for you.
